I don’t always like to wear actual perfume (especially during the day) as it can feel a bit too much and I’m sensitive to overpowering smells, but I have always loved wearing scent of some kind in my hair. This heaven-in-a-bottle scent turns your mane into a cloud of gentle, delicate sweetness, dancing subtly around your locks as you move, at the same time as giving a dash of nourishment through clever essential oils.
Bulgarian Rosewater: with its calming, delicate scent, rosewater has been said to stabilize your hair’s pH balance because it is nearer to that of hair and can aid in repairing hair’s damaged porosity. It acts as an anti-inflammatory and with its natural antiseptic properties it can reduce or lessen dandruff caused by fungal infections.
Green Tea: A gentle infusion of green tea makes this extra lovely and nutrient-rich; spritz your hair with anti-oxidants for a lovely natural sheen. (See the magical benefits of tea.)
Rosemary and cedarwood are thought to stimulate hair growth.
Ylang ylang: balances oils and reduces stress.
Grapefruit: makes you feel extra vibrant; a little bit zingy, if you will.
Vanilla: keeps things sweet and, I feel duty bound to mention, is a natural aphrodisiac.
Uses and directions:
Spritz into wet or dry hair every day to smell extra-delicious, or to freshen your hair between washes.
