I’m actually-a-bit-ecstatic to announce that our vegan, plastic-avoiding natural Leafodorant has been shortlisted for the Veggie Awards 2024 in the ‘Everyday Essentials’ category! 🎉

We’re right up there among some huge, household names, so it’s a bit surreal…

Although it would be a thrill to actually win, and we’ll know in a few months what the celebrity judges will conclude, I’m just happy to be in the finals!!

All about the Leafodorant:

This formulation is the result of years of trials and tweaks (I have lost count of the number of not-quite-right experiments which have clogged up my bathroom one after the other); even after multiple requests, I wanted to wait until I could release something that I could stand by; which worked, was a joy to use and was truly worthy of adding to the Leafology range.

A skin-nourishing, green-tea infused blend, free of aluminium and baking soda, the Leafodorant is gentle on sensitive skin, won’t cause irritation (even after shaving), leaves no white marks…. and may prompt you to ask your nearest person to smell your underarm.

Options include an ‘unscented’ version (with no added essential oils, only a subtle, underlying hint of the natural cocoa butter) and four delicious essential-oil scent profiles to suit your underarm’s every mood.

This natural deodorant is unique. From the fact that the base involves a skin-nourishing green-tea infusion in the nutrient-rich organic sunflower (which is then combined with organic mango and cacao butters), to the addition of soothing aloe vera, marsh mallow root and a little-known type of moss often used in the circus industry (see the product page for more on this!), this is no ordinary ‘natural deodorant’.

Anti-odour mineral power is brought to you by non-nano zinc and magnesium. Lycopodium brings in hydrophobic (anti-wetness) properties, while a dash each of clay and gentle, moisture-absorbing arrowroot promote a fresh and dry feeling (though it’s not designed to stop the natural process of sweating, just to keep you smelling glorious if you do!).
