Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh

We are well catered (if you squint a bit) for all your Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh needs!

Here’s a little tour through our most regal of Christmas offerings, with direct links & ingredient benefits…

GOLDEN TURMERIC
A true wonder-spice, turmeric’s curcumin makes it antibacterial and an effective anti-inflammatory not only internally but also topically. It often helps to calm pain, redness and swelling. Turmeric has been used across Asia for smoothing complexions and can help to clear breakouts. Find it in the Yellow Gold Cleansing Balm (below) and the award-winning Mermaid Magic Anti-Blemish Face Mask.

Little twist: have you tried our brand new room & atmosphere spray, Firefly Gold?

Made with sandalwood, rose, cinnamon, vanilla, apple blossom, vetiver, blackcurrant & spices, I dubbed this one ‘Autumn in a bottle’! This all-natural, sweetly spiced room & atmosphere spray signals warm fires, clear skies, twinkly lights and fruit puddings. A unique medley of comforting essential oils, plant extracts, for rooms, linen & cosy indulgence. No synthetic scents ever!

Organic white tea & a touch of organic chamomile floral water form the base.

FRANKINCENSE
The healing qualities of frankincense have long been known (and it is widely rumoured that topical application around the eye socket can even stimulate and improve vision!).Steam distilled from the resin of the Boswelia genus of trees, it has a rather regal scent which is also calming and uplifting (the perfect scent to settle you into a good night’s sleep), and it’s even thought to lift and tighten skin naturally, keeping the delicate skin of the eye area as smooth as possible.
Find Frankincense in the Frankincense & Tea Seed Magic Eye Night Serum (below), the Wild Woman Nourishing Body, Bump & Baby Oil, the Christmas Spirit Soy Wax Candle, the Good Face Day Serum, the ‘Earth’ Leaf-Aroma Oil Blend and the Precious Petals Beauty Balm.

MYRRH
Hands-down my favourite word to spell (and once the Wordle word of the day, pleasingly), myrrh is a gum-resin associated with regality, cleansing and annointment; it’s also antimicrobial and astringent, so helps promote healthy blood flow in gums. Find it in the plastic-tube-free tooth powder (which we sell refills for via the website too!). It’s all I ever brush my teeth with:
