4 things I’m noticing as January orders roll in:
(Just some cosy, warm reflections + the last one is a biggie!)

1. Some of your names make me smile… Simply seeing them pop up in my order notifications. I remember the message you sent once, the kind review you left, or the time you rushed to introduce yourself at an event & tell me about your vast Leafology collection in person! Those little moments leave a memory. It’s sweet to have that extra connection, and makes everything feel more human!

2. Is there anything cuter than watching people buy for each other? From my behind-the-scenes (behind-the-computer) viewpoint, I often see friends and family taking turns to spoil each other for birthdays, pick-me-ups, or ‘just because’ gifts. (Just casually watching love unfolding through time.) It’s such an honour that my little botanical creations are part of it.

3. And I love seeing brand new names, too. Every time I see a name I don’t recognise, I want to reach into the screen and ask: ‘How did you find Leafology? Was it a whisper in the wind? A magic frog? Tell me oh tell me please!‘ Every first order still excites me. ✨ … So yes, I’m excited by repeat orders AND by every first-time customer who puts their trust in my creations. (Basically, I love you all, OK?)

4. Finally, one big thing I’m observing strongly at the moment is that I’m both the growth factor of Leafology (its founder, creator and heart) and its limiting factor. (This paradox shows up for many small business owners at some point, so I’m hardly alone there!) As I look ahead to the year in front of me, more than ever, it feels clear that this is a year of radical change for me AND Leafology! I’m excited (and a bit nervous!)!

I’m working to streamline how things are done, with radical changes behind the scenes, so I can focus on what matters most:
