The truth is, and here I may divert from beauty industry ‘marketing norms’: eyes are so expressive that even if the skin around them is less than par (maybe you stayed up too late – maybe you’re tired and stressed and have been eating more junk than usual – tut tut!), they are still indecently beautiful. Adventures, late nights & excesses are often to be celebrated, but, still, it’s nice to do what we can to improve matters of their effects, and the ingredients here have been specially chosen for warding off the evil spirits of dark circles, puffiness, lines and dull-looking skin.
Uses & Directions:
At bedtime, and with only light pressure, smooth the roller-ball bottle in a semi-circle below each eye, following the shape of the socket and massaging in small circles. A perfect complement to the Overnight Face Food with Mandarin, Carrot Seed & Neroli.
Key ingredients/benefits:
FRANKINCENSE ESSENTIAL OIL: The healing qualities of frankincense have long been known (and it is widely rumoured that topical application around the eye socket can even stimulate and improve vision!).Steam distilled from the resin of the Boswelia genus of trees, it has a rather regal scent which is also calming and uplifting (the perfect scent to settle you into a good night’s sleep), and it’s even thought to lift and tighten skin naturally, keeping the delicate skin of the eye area as smooth as possible.
CAMELLIA (TEA) SEED OIL: We all know that green tea is full of antioxidants and the same is true of the magical oil cold pressed from its seeds. Traditionally favoured by Japanese geisha, this light oil is healing, softening, nourishing and packed full of micro-nutrients to rejuvenate delicate skin cells. …See here!
SWEET ALMOND OIL: Said to help decrease ‘panda eyes’ by lightening the skin and reducing dullness, sweet almond oil is richly moisturising (while being light enough to be easily absorbed along with the tea seed oil) and full of nutrients, replenishing fatty acids and vitamin E. It’s also anti-inflammatory, which means it can help reduce puffiness and irritation.
LAVENDER & CHAMOMILE ESSENTIAL OILS: Anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and gentle, these two top off a beautiful concentration of care-taking. Both are renowned for their soothing, calming natural aromas; applying the serum is a perfect finish to a day and a sign to yourself that it’s time to r e l a x . . .
VITAMIN E: an added (natural) extra dose for even more antioxidant power; why not?
Ingredients:
Camellia sinensis (Camellia) seed oil (from the tea plant), Prunus dulcis (Sweet Almond) kernel oil, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) leaf oil, Boswellia carterii (Frankincense) oil, Anthemis nobilis (Chamomile) flower oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Limonene*, Geraniol*, Linalool*, Citronellol*. *Naturally occurring constituents in essential oils.

Firstly, Leafology’s packaging is just all so impressive! This eye serum is presented beautifully in an elegant brown glass bottle, the labelling is lovely. The roller works smoothly and only a little is needed, I can see this will last really well. Which is good as the scent here is SO DIVINE, as well as using it as an eye serum I also feel compelled to rub it into my pulse points and along my collarbone to embrace the aroma! It feels hydrating yet light and absorbs really nicely.
I also think this will be invaluable for long flights – compact and soothing thanks to both the skin-nourishing and emotionally calming properties.

A beautiful eye serum. Smells delicious, moisturises, doesn’t irritate my eyes/lids (which can be quite sensitive) or leave them greasy the next morning. The packaging is fantastic, too – the roller distributes just the right amount, unlike some I’ve tried where you end up with way too much product! Love this stuff – highly recommended!

A real treat for tired eyes. I love adding this to my existing Good Face Day Serum and Overnight Face Food routine for an extra boost. Lovely applicator delivers the right dose every time and nicely portable too. Lovely formula and smells great too. Thank you for another amazing product Ella Rose!

I have recently extended my range of Leafology products from the Balmy Gloss to include several other treats for my tired skin. The Magic Eye Night Serum has genuinely been the best product I have ever used to improve puffy eyes and dark circles – I absolutely love it! From the cooling roller ball to the luxurious frankincense smell, the application of the product is a treat in itself. In my case, the serum started to take effect immediately, with my eyes feeling fresher and cooler. Within an hour, the puffiness had reduced, as had the dark circles, and I have to say I was pretty amazed at how the serum had visibly taken effect, as if I had put on some under-eye concealer. Unlike other products I have used in the past, which have over-promised and under-delivered, this little eye-roller really seems to do the trick. I love it, and will definitely be recommending it to others!

I have used this for a few months now pretty much every night and I still have lots of this product left. A little goes a long way and to make it extra refreshing after a long day its nice stored in the fridge. It’s a lovely serum and has helped my eyes and it really soothes and moisturises the under eye area. I cant say I’ve noticed a difference with my dark under eyes but each person is different 😊

I have tried many eye creams / serums and I feel that this is the only one that has actually improved the skin around my eyes. The product is quickly absorbed and does not leave an oily residue around your eyes.
