Description
Inspired by my love of Earl Grey tea, I originally decided to create a beard oil that would condition the beard and the skin underneath equally, with full-power nutrients, a deliciously subtle and sophisticated woody-citrus scent with absolutely no greasiness. What we want is good natural shine and softened facial glory.
Then, I wished I had a beard. During the formulation process, I MAY have been known to take this with me in my handbag to social gatherings in order to test it on any passing hairy chaps (a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do) and all concurred: it smelled wonderful.
After trying it in my own hair on a whim and being amazed at how beautifully soft it made my locks (and falling in love again with the scent), I realised I was missing a trick not making this available to everyone, so I rebranded it from ‘Stubble & Beard Oil’ to ‘Beard & Hair Tonic’ to make it more inclusive. Whatever your beard status, if you have hair, this is for you!

Key ingredients/benefits:
CAMELLIA (THE TEA PLANT): anti-inflammatory, rich in anti-oxidants, packed full of micro-nutrients… See this page!
JOJOBA & ARGAN OILS: both are highly regenerative (length boosting!) and at the top of the non-pore-blocking tree (just say no to blemishes!). Jojoba is actually a wax whose structure is so similar to our natural sebum that it’ll sink in very nicely.
HEMP: light, easily absorbed, anti-microbial, high in omegas and minerals and full of vitamin E and ultra-softening nutrients.
BERGAMOT (the shining, citrus star in Earl Grey Tea) & CEDARWOOD essential oils do wonders for both the hair and skin, while GRAPEFRUIT leaves a brightening, uplifting scent to linger all day long…

i love the sent of this beard oil. besides smelling great it also keeps my beard smooth and nurtured, it’s not greasy and is super easy to apply. I only used it once for shaving which was nice but haven’t had enough experience with it to recommend it for shaving. But as a nice soft beard oil, definitely a yes for me.

Use this interchangeably with the Black Seed oil on my beard and hair. On the beard, it’s without a doubt the best I’ve used for shine and natural feel. For the hair, it’s been an absolute game-changer in that it’s completely replaced my need for hair wax. Leaves a natural and styled look without the sticky chems. Brilliant!

This particular product needs more than 5 stars available to give it an accurate rating! I’ve tried a couple of different beard oils and this one is leagues apart from anything else I’ve tried. It sounds corny, but I genuinely noticed serious results in how much softer my beard was in just a week or so. My partner agrees that it’s much softer now and asked me unprompted what I’d changed about my routine.
I use just a few drops every morning and comb it through. If you use more than that, it can feel a bit greasy, but I haven’t noticed my skin feeling more oily from it and I’ve used it for almost a month now (before realising I owe this fantastic product a review if I love it so much). I then towel away any excess but it soaks in quite well rather than just sitting on the hair like some other oils do.
The scent is also mild but pleasant, with an invigorating tea smell that helps me feel more awake when I apply it in the morning.
