Month ONE: I’ve got clay on my face (& other heavenly brushes with clean livin’)

Leafology Journal: Leaves, Shoots & Roots

Recipe/pout testing: Moroccan Rhassoul Clay Cleansing Mousse & Mask. Leaves skin stroke-able. Organic white tea AND coffee, plus sandalwood, hibiscus, neem, mandarin, apricot, aloe… and tons more that make snappy, succinct titles a challenge… COMING SOON!!

Things have been happening here in Leafology land.

Mermaid-inspired face masks have flown in jiffy bags, bright yellow cleansing balms have been placed on bathroom shelves, hair treatments are drenching lacklustre locks with the most luxurious of plant seed oils – and in the meantime I’ve been working hard, concocting brand new things and starting collaborations with stockists!

If you know of any shops, local to you or otherwise, that may be interested in a natural, cruelty-free, vegan skincare brand, do hit reply and let me know!

In the meantime, a few things need your urgent attention…

Have you seen the Good Face Day Serum with Green Tea, Raspberry Seed & Juniper? It’s the perfect complement to the Overnight Face Food with Mandarin, Carrot Seed & Neroli (which I’m delighted to say is going down extremely well and has been my face’s best bed-friend for a while now!). Raspberry seed oil is known to have naturally protective properties against UVA/UVB damage and in my experience really works.

The wonderfully multitasking Organic Coconut, Rose & Walnut Butter (so pleased with itself it comes in 3 sizes) is also now out – it’s simple, elegant and deeply luxurious, and can be used to moisturise lips, hands & the whole body. The scent is no more and no less than a hint of the Bulgarian organic rose; non-allergenic & naturally fragrant (and it takes 2000 kgs of fresh flowers to produce just one kg of it!). A total skin-loving classic, with no added artificial nonsense.

New mothers have a whole page to themselves and all three products are also suitable for sensitive adults as well as babies. Take a look at the talc-free Naked Baby Powder (with tea & calendula), Unscented Naked Baby Balm (moisture & anti-irritation with cottonseed, tea seed & organic cacao) & the brand new Wild Mother Nourishing Bump Oil with Organic Rosehip, Calendula & Neroli, which smells endlessly inhale-able (very subtle, sweet & gently seductive) and works to prevent and fade stretch marks as well as soothing delicate skin (and if you’ve noticed I’ve got a thing for neroli essential oil, you are quite correct!).

I’ll leave it there for now, but do have a browse, tell your nearest and dearest and feel free to give me palpitations.

with leafy loving,

🙂
